Terms of Service

Welcome to Magic Homi. These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of our web application located at magichomi.com ("the App", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue using our platform.

1. Use of the Service

Magic Homi grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our web application for personal, non-commercial finance management, subject to the following rules:

• You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use this Service.
• You agree not to use the App for any unlawful activities or in a way that violates local, state, national, or international regulations.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, compromise, or bypass the server infrastructure, APIs, Firebase authentication channels, or user data security gates of the App.
• You must not use automated scrapers, crawlers (excluding search engine spiders), or scripts to extract data from our application interfaces.

2. Accounts and Data Synchronization

To enable personal data backup and cross-device sync, you may register an account using your email address:

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (passwords, tokens).
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security compromise of your registered email account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are engaged in malicious security exploits against our Cloud Databases.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All software logic, codebase, responsive layouts, interface designs, original text copy, financial chart styles, brand icons, and custom logos contained within Magic Homi are the exclusive property of Magic Homi and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, or modify any portion of the App's source code without our explicit written consent.

4. Client-Side Calculations and Performance

Magic Homi calculations (such as interest rate debt paydowns, average daily spending, and cash flow forecasting) are performed directly on the client side using javascript in your web browser. Performance and mathematical rendering speeds depend entirely on your browser's processor efficiency and network quality. We make no warranty that our calculations are completely error-free or represent absolute accuracy in real-world scenarios.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Magic Homi, its developers, and partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, savings deficits, data corruption, capital losses, or investment damages resulting from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, our budgeting and debt-payoff calculators.
• Any mathematical inaccuracies, chart delays, or calendar rendering errors in the application interfaces.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your financial transaction records by third-party agents.
• System downtimes, database connection disruptions, or general server maintenance.

6. Termination of Service

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, to terminate or restrict your access to the App (or individual modules) for any reason, including without limitation your breach of these Terms, malicious system abuse, or the absolute discontinuation of the platform itself.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the state where Magic Homi operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.

8. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp. Your continued use of the platform after the publication of revised Terms represents your explicit acceptance of the new Agreement.
